Our company together with companies Danish Farm Design, Jyden Bur and SAC develop projects in animal husbandry. Measures of time economy and energy saving are offered during drawings and materials developing. All equipment and tools are designed with aim to facilitation of every day work of staff with cattle and ensuring hygiene in stables.

Farm equipment is designed with a focus on welfare and the possibility of free movement of animals. A good example of how the conditions of animals and a good economy help us to create a soft and durable rubber coating at the same time in the aisles of stables and stalls.
Soft cover in the aisles helps the cows with more natural movement and reduces wear on the hooves and the rubber mats in stalls improve animal welfare and to encourage a desire to lie. The result is a healthy animal with an improved blood circulation in udder - and, consequently, an increase in milk yield.
If you can increase the resting period from 11 hours/day to 14 hours/day with a better mat, will this result in 1,5 kg. more milk per day.
(Statistic from Denmark)
NB: Cows produce more milk when they have a quit long resting period which results in a higher milk yield due to an improved blood supply.
An example. A dairy production with 500 milking cows:
1,5 kg extra milk per day x 500 cows x 365 days
= 273.750 kg. extra milk per year x EUR 0,3/litre (Danish price) = EUR 82.125 per year.
The design of the cubicle divider ensures that the cow will lie down in a natural and optimal position.
This results in a cleaner environment with better hygiene, less deceases and an improved milk quality.
NB: Bacteria at the bedding area causes Mastitis – so it is important to maintain a clean environment.
An example:
A dairy production with 500 milking cows:
We normally see 20% having Mastitis on a yearly basis = 100 cows.
The cost of Mastitis is: EUR 335
(source: Statistic from Denmark)
This means: EUR 33.500,- per year.
If the cubicle divider can help reducing the coincidences of Mastitis with 5%, will this result in EUR 1.675 per year x 10 years =
EUR 16.750,-.
We equip dairy farms
All best that is could be done for cow, milk and milker – is should be done! Demands to the milking equipment are high and we fulfill them:
- Equipment should be gentle in relation to the milk and animals!
- Equipment should be simple in operation!
- Equipment should be ergonomic in construction and easy in exploitation!
- Equipment should be of high quality and simple in design!
